Cocktail and Flat Art Contests


Division XI – Cocktail Bird Contest – Not an IWCA Contest

 Anyone is eligible and encouraged to enter.

Cocktail bird must fit in cocktail glass.

Cocktail birds will be judged at 3:30PM on Saturday.

All cocktail birds become property of the O.D.C.C.A. and will be auctioned during the live auction Saturday evening. Auction proceeds to benefit O.D.C.C.A.


Division XII – Flat Art Contest – Goose or Confidence Bird

             Anyone can enter and you need not be a member. There are two classes – Open and Student.

Any fine art media may be used with the exception of photographs or computer.

Your entry should not be framed or have glass or matting.

Entry must be shrink-wrapped or acetate covered on cardboard.

        Hand-carried entries must be presented to the contest chairman before 9:30AM Saturday, March 15, 2008, in the         Ballroom of the Holiday Inn.
    
        Student must pick up their entries on Sunday at 3pm.

                 Winning artwork will be returned to the artist but the ODCCA reserves the right to have

          the use of the picture for a future show pin, clothing items, and covers of our rules brochure and newsletter.

           There is a limit of four entries per person.

            Note: When selecting your entry, keep in mind that your art will be used for next years logo.

            The Judges will be looking for fine art and art that will work well as logo art. Size, Color,

            Background, and Artistic Representation.
