The history of our club is rich in the legacy of the "Flats" region of Lake
St. Clair
in southeast Michigan. This tradition of duck hunting and carving is
being kept alive
by our club and all who participate in our show and
organization.

Milwaukee Decoy & Sporting Collectibles Show
Mark your calendar! The 2009 Milwaukee Decoy & Sporting Collectibles Show has a new date – Thursday, November 5th – Saturday, November 7th. The show will take place at the same great location the Country Springs Hotel www.countryspringshotel.com located at 2810 Golf Road, Waukesha Wisconsin.
Show dates and events include: Thursday, November 5th room to room sales/trading conducted 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday November 6th room to room sales/trading conducted 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Saturday November 7th Decoys Unlimited Auction – Ted and Judy Harmon 10 a.m. (Auction preview on Friday evening November 6th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday morning November 7th from 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m.) Auction will start promptly at 10 a.m. on November 7th, 2009.

Directions: From downtown Milwaukee go west on Hwy. I-94 approximately 20 miles to Hwy. T, turn right. Go ¼ mile to Golf Road, then left on Golf Road for approximately 1 mile to hotel. From Madison go east on Hwy. I-94 to Hwy. G (exit 291). Turn left on Hwy. G and travel about ¼ mile to Hwy. DR (Golf Road) and turn right to the hotel.
Admission for all events is FREE. The public is welcome to bring in any decoys for a FREE appraisal.

Midwest Decoy
Collectors Association Convention
April 28& 29, 2006 / April 27 & 28, 2007

Considered by many to be THE national Decoy show, drawing collectors from across
the USA, Canada and even Europe, the show is held at the spacious Pheasant Run
Resort in St. Charles, Illinois, there will be literally hundreds of rooms open
for room-to-room trading beginning as early as Monday and Tuesday nights.
Guyette & Schmdit, Inc. hold their Spring Decoy Auction at Pheasant Run Resort
this same week on Thursday and Friday. The show, held in the large Mega-Center,
features almost 400 tables filled with decoys and other sporting collectibles.
Show hours will be from 2:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday and 9:00am to 3:00pm on
Saturday.

This is one of the newest decoy shows in the Midwest sponsored by Chillicothe
Optimist Club. It is a one day show and a great way to spend an afternoon.
Set-up is 6-8 am. The show is open to the general public from 8 am- 2 pm

Monroe Sporting Collectibles Show

The Monroe Sporting Collectibles Show and World Fish carving Competition are now
presented together by the Great Lakes Fish Decoy Collectors and Carvers
Association offering room-to-room trading all day on Thursday and Friday.
