1. No exact copies of other known carvers' works.  Blending of styles and forms is acceptable. 
2. All entries must!!! be engraved or branded with the carver's initials and date carved. 
3. The Best of Show decoy will remain with the ODCCA for one year for display purposes at the Migratory Bird Center, Magee Marsh and then returned to the carver.

All entries will be judged in one of three categories - ducks, shorebirds and confidence including all geese, crows, songbirds, wading birds, etc . . .. First, second and third places will be awarded a ribbon for each category.  The best of each category will then be judged against each other to determine first, second and third best of show.
