- The 2012 bird will be the Dunlin with no entry fee.
- The bird will be carved and painted by one person.
- Time limit will be 5 hours and 45 minutes. 7:30am to 1:15pm - Corkers Lounge
- The carvings will be judged by judges as an artistic interpretation of the live bird and NOT judged from an ornithological perspective.
- Contestants must provide their own paint, brushes, power tools, hair dryers, etc.
- Contestants must use blanks and mounting bases provided by the O.D.C.C.A.
- All carvings become property of the O.D.C.C.A. and will be actioned off following the judging. Auction proceeds to benefit O.D.C.C.A.
