Three exciting Wildfowler contests were held Sunday morning in the Holiday Inn pool: Singles open, Shooting Stool 3-Bird Rig open, and Youth, (three age groups).
Attendees viewed a total of 90 singles and seven rigs compete for top prizes. The competition is based on the tradition and heritage of basic, functional, hunting-style decoys, This is especially a great contest for beginning carvers! Top prize for BOS singles open was $500, a rosette and plaque. Top BOS for 3-bird rigs was $150, a rosette and plaque. Youth received $25 and ribbons. Congratulations to all of our competitors - great job in carrying on this tradition. How ODCCA BeganOn March 15 - 16, 2025, the ODCCA is holding its 46th Annual Vintage Decoys & Wildlife SHOW and SALE.
In 1963, a group of decoy collectors met in the Cleveland area to share their interest and knowledge about this artform first created by indigenous people. In 1976, the ODCCA was organized with the goal of holding an annual show and sale. Thanks to our dedicated volunteers who have kept this show going for 45 years! |
