Kid's Contests grades pre-school thru 12
Students can enter for free any contest listed in the 2024 Competition Rules. Contests with special student categories include: Saturday 1:30 p.m. Kid's Painting Contest, and the ODCCA Kid's Silhouette Contest using a Black-necked Stilt pattern shown above or you own. Saturday Kids' Painting Contest NEW DAY & TIME No entry fee. Kids pre-school through grade 12 will paint a 1/3 size loon 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m., Saturday, Rockside Rm., near Ballroom #4. Email Steve Secord, secordsteven@gmail.com This is a fun contest for kids who like to paint. Students K thru grades 12 enter one entry per person, no entry fee. Each age group will be judged 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Best in Group. Age groups at the time of registration are: 16 – 17 years of age; 12 – 15; 11 and under. 1. Download the Black-necked Stilt pattern from www.odcca (click here) or other patterns may be used.
4. Glass eyes are permitted. 5. Must be mounted on a simple base with a wood or metal dowel. Entries should be realistically painted. Other contests with special student categories, no entry fee: ODCCA Flat Art contest, Ohio Federal Junior Duck Stamp, and Fish Decoys. The Wildfowlers Youth contest is for ages 17 and younger. Entries are judged at the show and on display for public viewing until 3 p.m. Sunday. Winning entries are awarded ribbons. Your sponsorship for these contests is appreciated! |
